澳门回归十年大事记
澳门回归
1999年12月20日，葡萄牙结束对澳门的统治，政权移交中华人民共和国，澳门特区首任行政长官何厚铧宣誓就职。在“一国两制”的政策下，澳门享有“澳人治澳”、高度自治的权利。
通过博彩法
2001年，澳门立法会正式通过了《娱乐场幸运博彩经营法律制度》(俗称“博彩法”)，为澳门的“开放赌权”提供了法律依据。
实施自由行
2003年7月，内地多个城市陆续实施居民赴澳门自由行。
签署CEPA
2003年10月29日，中央政府与澳门特区政府签署《内地与澳门关于建立更紧密经贸关系的安排》(英文为Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement，简称CEPA)。直至2009年5月，中央有关部门和澳门陆续签署六项CEPA补充协议。
行政长官连任
2004年8月29日，澳门特区第二任行政长官选举顺利举行，何厚铧获连任。
