刚刚过去的哥本哈根气候变化会议，十五个国家元首，百多项议程，终究为了一个命题：如何竭止气候变化。会议虽然没有法律文件约束，但众国元首聚头，所作出的讨论，仍是有影响世界的能力。各国为减少碳排放、减少砍伐林木、停止西方国家于发展中国家所作出的环保污染等话题进行讨论，并制定一套各自遵守的环保守则。这次会议把气候变化这个话题带到政治桌面，并让全世界关注着，重要性让各国政府和人民，不得不加以关注。踏入2010年，承接着会议的结束，政策的实行，竭止气候变化将会是各环保组织的主要工作，也将会是各大社会政策、以致外交的重点。这将影响到企业运作、城市规划、生活细节、以及加深我们的环保概念。未来一年的世界性活动，如2010上海世博会、广州亚运会、甚至世界杯，无一不以环保为首要关注。2010年联合国国际环境日的主题定为 “Biodiversity：Connecting with Nature”─生物多样性，与大自然连结起来，而首要基本，就是要竭止气候变化。哥本哈根会议的成功，代表竭止气候变化的话题将继续在2010年寻找答案。
